1. Our Commitment to Confidentiality
At Doorstep Filings (“Company”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”), we place the highest importance on:

- Secure handling of sensitive business and personal information
We are committed to maintaining strict confidentiality and implementing robust information security practices across all our operations.
2. Non-Disclosure Commitment
We strictly adhere to the following principles:
- We do NOT sell, rent, or trade client data.
- We do NOT disclose client information to third parties without consent.
- Your data is used strictly for service delivery and compliance purposes.
3. Definition of Confidential Information
“Confidential Information” includes, but is not limited to:
- Personal data (KYC, identity documents)
- Business information (GST, CIN, financials, structure)
- Proprietary ideas, business models, and strategies
- Trade secrets, research, and technical data
- Financial records, projections, and pricing
- Client lists, vendor details, and marketing plans
- Information disclosed verbally, digitally, or in writing
Whether or not marked as “confidential”, such information will be treated as confidential.
4. Purpose of Use
Confidential Information shall be used only for:
- Providing requested services
- Legal and regulatory compliance
- Internal processing and verification

- • Unauthorized commercial exploitation
- • Personal benefit
- • Competitive advantage
5. Restricted Access & Internal Control
Access to confidential data is strictly limited to:
- Authorized employees
- Directors & partners
- Verified professionals (CA, CS)
- Trusted contractors
👉 Access is granted strictly on a “need-to-know” basis.
All personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations and data protection policies.
6. Permitted Disclosures
We may disclose confidential information only in the following cases:
All such disclosures are made under strict confidentiality safeguards.
7. Exceptions to Confidentiality
Confidentiality obligations shall NOT apply to information that:
- •Was already in our possession prior to disclosure
- •Is publicly available without breach of this agreement
- •Is received from a third party without confidentiality obligations
- •Is independently developed without reference to client data
- •Is disclosed with client’s written consent

9. Client Responsibility
Clients agree to:
- • Provide accurate and lawful information
- • Avoid sharing sensitive data through insecure channels
- • Maintain confidentiality of their own login credentials
We are not responsible for breaches caused due to user negligence.
10. Intellectual Property Protection
All confidential information remains the exclusive property of the client.
Nothing in this agreement grants:
- Ownership rights
- License to use client IP beyond service delivery
11. Indemnity Clause
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doorstep Filings against:
Any losses, damages, or claims arising from:
- • Unauthorized use of the platform
- • Breach of confidentiality by your actions
- • Submission of unlawful or misleading data
12. Limitation of Liability
Doorstep Filings shall NOT be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of business, profits, or data
- Breaches caused by third-party systems
- Events beyond reasonable control
13. Duration of Confidentiality
During service engagement
Even after termination
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of India.
👉Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
15. Severability
If any provision of this agreement is found unenforceable:
- The remaining provisions shall continue in full force
- The invalid clause shall be modified to the minimum extent required
16. Updates to Policy
We may update this Confidentiality Policy from time to time.
Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
